Em homenagem ao Dia de Martin Luther King Jr., Meghan Markle e o príncipe Harry mostraram o seu apoio à Dra. Bernice King – filha do falecido Martin Luther King Jr. – fornecendo refeições aos voluntários e funcionários que organizaram os eventos de segunda-feira no The King Center em Atlanta. O serviço comemorativo anual do King Center também teve como orador principal o Reverendo Michael Bruce Curry, Bispo Presidente da Igreja Episcopal, que fez a homilia no casamento de Meghan e Harry em 2018.
