Foram divulgados os nomeados aos Prémios BAFTA 2019. Os vencedores dos “Óscares britânicos” serão anunciados no dia 10 de fevereiro, numa cerimónia na Royal Opera House, em Covent Garden, Londres. “A Favorita”, do grego Yorgos Lanthimos, lidera com doze nomeações. Seguem-se “Roma”, “Bohemian Rhapsody” e “Assim Nasce Uma Estrela”, com sete nomeações; “Vice” com seis nomeações e “BlacKkKlansman” com cinco nomeações. “Green Book – Um Guia para a Vida” e “Cold War” têm com quatro nomeações cada.
